Special service application procedures
When giro account holders wish to apply for or cancel voice passwords, the account principal or responsible person must bring their National ID Card (passport and Resident Certificate or Record of ID in ROC in the case of foreign nationals;Resident Certificate in the case of residents of mainland China) and retained giro seal in person to assigned office or security exchange office to apply.
If the account responsible person cannot apply in person, the National ID Card of the responsible person (passport and resident certificate or record of ID in ROC in the case of foreign nationals; Resident Certificate in the case of residents of mainland China) must be presented and a photocopy submitted; also present a Letter of Proxy authorizing another person to perform application (the entrusted person must also bring his or her National ID Card and submit a photocopy of an ID document).
A giro account holder applying for transfers to a designated receiving account must bring his or her National ID Card and giro seal to assigned office or security exchange office to apply.
