Types of Service:

Withdrawals:
You can use your Postal ATM Card to make withdrawals at post offices or at ATMs.
Withdrawal at a Post Office Counter:
A maximum withdrawal is up to NT$150,000 per transaction.
Total over-the-counter and ATM withdrawals are limited to NT$150,000 per day.
Postal ATM withdrawals:
A maximum withdrawal is up to NT$60,000 per transaction.
Total over-the-counter and ATM withdrawals are limited to NT$150,000 per day.
Withdrawals from Giro Accounts:
You can make withdrawals from your own giro account or transfer money from your savings account to your giro account (or vice versa), as long as you link your giro account to your ATM card in advance. Linking application requirements are your national ID card, passbook, authorized seal, and the most recent giro account statement. For branch-limited account holders, please visit your home branch.
Interbank ATM Withdrawals:
A NT$5 transaction fee per withdrawal is required.
Interbank maximum withdrawals are NT$20,000 per withdrawal.
Total daily maximum withdrawals, shared by non-interbank withdrawals, are NT$150,000.
Deposits:
Your Postal ATM Card can be used to make deposits at post offices or at ATMs.
Deposits at a Post Office Counter:
Unlimited.
Deposits at Postal ATMs:
Limited to banknotes in circulation accepted by the machine; each deposit is limited to 100 banknotes (a maximum of NT$60,000), but it is unlimited on total daily deposits.
Interbank ATM Deposits:
No daily limit on deposits to the passbook account or giro account associated with the card.
Daily deposit limit of NT$30,000 to an account not associated with the card.
Please see the regulations of the financial institution managing the ATM you are using for any interbank deposit service fees and single/daily deposit limits.
Transfers:
Postal ATM Cards can be used to make fund transfers, including interbank transfers.
Since June 1, 2004, Postal ATM Cards have a non-designated transfer feature de-activated as a default, which requires additional over-the-counter application.
The ATM daily transfer limit, shared by designated, non-designated, interbank, and non-interbank transfers, is up to NT$1 million.
Designated Transfers:
Please provide your national ID card, authorized seal, and passbook in person to any post office for application in advance.
A foreign national must present an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC); if no ARC, a passport and a Record of ID No. in the Republic of China are required; a resident of mainland China must present his/her ARC or Exit & Entry Permit Taiwan R.O.C.
For branch-limited account holders, please visit your home branch.
Designated interbank and non-interbank transfer accounts are 30 for each. Daily and single designated transfer limits (including interbank and non-interbank transfers) are NT$1 million.
Non-designated Transfers:
Please provide your national ID card and ATM card (or passbook) to any post office and fill out an application form.
Daily and single non-designated transfer limits (including interbank and non-interbank transfers) are NT$30,000.

Bill Payments:
If you have bill notices with ATM payment instructions, you can easily pay your bills with your Postal ATM Card at ATMs, or via WebATM.
Tax Payment by Account Transfer:
You can use Postal ATM Card to pay taxes at ATM and WebATM bearing "(Tax) Payments" labels at a post office or other financial institution.
The types of taxes that may be paid by account transfer include house tax, land value tax, vehicle license tax, business tax, individual income tax, and profit-seeking enterprise income tax.
There is no restriction on the amount of tax that may be paid on each time or in each day.
General Payments:
All payment slips bear ATM payment instructions and entry methods; you can use Postal ATM Card in conjunction with post office or other financial institution's ATM and WebATM to pay various fees.
Payment of Electric Charges:
You can use Postal ATM Card at post office ATM and WebATM to pay electric charges.
Postal Entrusted Payment Collection:
All may be made at a post office. When the payment slip states the "giro account" and "payment sender code," you can use Postal ATM Card to make a payment using a post office ATM or WebATM.
