To spotlight the beauty of goldfish and to follow up on 2019 and 2020 releases on these fish, Chunghwa Post has issued a set of four stamps featuring the following four gold fish: the Pearl Scale goldfish, the Celestial Eye goldfish, the Water Bubble Eye goldfish, and the Oranda goldfish. Their designs are described below:
1.
Pearl Scale (NT$8): It has a round body and semispherical scales, as if its skin featured inlaid pearls. These give it a very pleasing appearance.
2.
Celestial Eye (NT$8): Lacking a dorsal fin, it has large protruding eyes that have rotated 90 degrees to face upwards. Because of the upward-directed vision, it often must rely on its sense of smell and taste to find food.
3.
Water Bubble Eye (NT$15): On the side of its eyes, this goldfish has two fluid-filled sacs, which sway right and left as it glides through the water. It offers quite an interesting sight.
4.
Oranda (NT$28): With its hood atop its head (which is shaped like a slightly inverted trapezoid) and its wide tailfin, it has the appearance of a mighty lion.
