COVID-19:Temperature checks,hand sanitisers when customers enter the Post Office

In response to the COVID-19 epidemic, Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd. has upgraded the safety and prevention of epidemic, implemented disinfection of business premises, and implemented measures to measure body temperature and provide alcohol disinfection equipment from April 1 to strengthen various epidemic protection, so that customers can use the post without worry.
Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd. stated that since April 1, it will take its customers’ temperature at its nationwide business locations, and if the temperature is higher than 37.5℃, and is still higher than 37.5℃ after a second measurement, it will refuse the customers from entering, and will advise them to return home for medical treatment as soon as possible. However, post offices located in institutions, schools, hospitals, military units or other establishments where temperature measurement has been implemented at the door may not take further measurements.
Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd. has also upgraded its epidemic prevention measures by using alcohol to wipe and disinfect its business premises and i-mail boxes once a day during and after business hours. Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are regularly disinfected every 2 hours due to the frequent use of buttons, and alcoholic disinfectant is available for customers to use to implement the epidemic prevention policy. People are urged to take their body temperature at their places of business to protect their health.
