　　In recognition of the importance of the protection of intellectual property rights, and in honor of the 50th anniversary of the ROC Patent Law, this Directorate issued its 1994 Protection of Intellectual Property Rights Stamps. 　　The design for the 5.00 denomination is a palmshaped book, symbolizing the protection of creation and invention. The design for the 15.00 denomination is a fusion of the human brain and computer disk. They are locked to symbolize the fact that the respect for the protection of intellectual property rights has been a global goal.
