In order to acquaint the public with the progress of our industrial development and its importance, a set of 〝Industry〞 postage stamps was released on November 14, 1961, the formal opening date of the Golden Jubilee Convention of the Chinese Institute of Engineers. The stamps have the oil refinery, steel works, aluminum manufacturing and fertilizer plant as the designs.
