The Taiwan Scenery Postage Stamps series was launched in 2016, and now Chunghwa Post has released its latest installment in the series: a set of four stamps on famous sights in Taipei City. The details are as follows:1.Taipei Post Office (NT$8): Located in the Zhongzheng District of Taipei City, the building’s architecture blends elements of classical Western architecture with the simple, clean lines of modernism. Designated as a historic site by the city, it bears witness to the development and evolution of postal services over the course of a century in Taiwan.2.Zhuzihu Calla Lily Festival (NT$8): Located at the northern border of Taipei Basin, Zhuzihu is a popular spot for taking in the scenery during the spring flower season. The elegant white blooms of calla lily provide a romantic atmosphere and unforgettable feast for the eyes when the flowers are in bloom from March to April.3.Beitou Library (NT$15): Located within Beitou Park, the building was once chosen as one of “the world’s 25 most beautiful libraries.” Making use of green energy and built to high environmental standards, it was Taiwan’s first green library building.4.Taipei Music Center (NT$28): Located in the Nangang District of Taipei City, the center is a multifaceted compound and serves multiple functions, including hosting performances, making records of culture, and promoting music industry development.
