Nienhwa, an adornment for celebration of Chinese Lunar New Year, is a traditional Chinese art. It has the functions of educating children, circulating history, and propogating knowledge. The four stamps take as their motifs four Nienhwas. They are Satisfaction for Every Year, Beaming with Joy, Happiness and Longevity, Wealth and Peace. The figures were based on the traditional Nienhwas of window-frames and painted in bright color for gaining the majestic mood in celebration of the coming New Year. 　　 A booklet consisting of two sets of the stamps was issued on the same day.
