　　On December 24, 1994 this Directorate issued a set of two stamps honoring the late President Yen Chia-kan. The 5.00 denomination features the President's portrait. The 15.00 denomination shows the President's concern for farmers.　　The late President Yen was the first to retire in a government in which full democracy was begun. He did much for the country, especially in its economy.
