Description
To mark the event of the "ROCUPEX 2019 TAIPEI & R.O.C.-Thailand Stamp Exhibition" held at the Postal Museum from September 6 to 10, 2019, Chunghwa Post is issuing a set of postage label featuring Formosan Serow. On the lower left corner of each label is a serial number with three English letters (which signify the roll number) and four Arabic numerals. A total of 800 rolls with 1,000 labels each will be issued.
The Formosan Serow is a herbivore endemic to the island of Taiwan. It has a dark tan body with black hue on the back of its neck and yellow spots on the cheeks, throat and upper neck. This solitary bovid bears conical horns and lives at elevations over 200 meters above sea level.
The postage label will be available on September 6, 2019 in postage label vending machines at the Postal Museum and the following branches: Keelung Aisan Rd., National Taiwan Ocean University, Taipei Beimen, Taipei Railway Station, Taipei Daan, Taipei Xinyi, Shilin, Neihu, Banqiao Guoqing, Xindian, Zhonghe, Sanxia, Shulin, Sanchong Zhongshan Rd., Danshuei, Tamkang University, Xinzhuang, Fu Jen Catholic University, Linkou, Taoyuan Chenggong Rd., Zhongli, Zhongli Neili, Longtan, Yangmei, Hsinchu Wuchang St., Hsinchu Science Park, Xinpu, Zhubei, Zhudong, Miaoli Zhongmiao, Yuanli, Taichung Gongyi Rd., Taichung Yingcai, Taichung Minqyuan Rd., Taichung Xiangshang, Taiping, Fongyuan, Tanzi, Providence University, Changhua Zhongyang Rd., Changhua Guangfu Rd., Lugang, Yuanlin, Douliou Xiping Rd., Chiayi Yushan, Tainan Chenggong Rd., Xinxing, Zuoying, Kaohsiung Railway Station Front, Xiaogang, Kaohsiung Xijia, Fongshan, Pingtung Minsheng Rd., Yilan Zhongshan Rd., Hualien Guoan and Taitung Datong Rd. By-issues
FDC at NT$2 apiece and maximum card at NT$10 apiece will be sold from September 4, 2019. Overprinted maximum card available only at Taipei Post Office, Postal Stamps Mall and the venue will be sold at NT$10 apiece.
