Description

At the time of the founding of the Republic of China, the postage-due stamps of the Ching Dynasty then in stock were overprinted in a vertical line in the middle with No. 5 Sung characters〝中華民國〞(Republic of China) by the Customs Statistical Department in Shanghai for temporary use during the transitional period.
