Description
In coordination with the campaign of "Sending Happiness and Good Fortune Through Handwritten Mail" in 2007, this Post has planned the issuance of a stamp denominated at NT$5.00 on the subject. The stamp was designed by Ms. Yang Hui-min of Arteck Design and Consultants Co., Ltd. and is being printed in color deep-etch offset by China Color Printing Co., Ltd. Moreover, to be innovative in its design, the stamp is printed with a partially glossy effect. The stamp will be released on September 28, 2007.
Based on the theme of "sending one’s feelings," the stamp features a pigeon carrying a letter sealed with a heart to convey the idea of "spreading love." It aims to encourage people to put their caring, gratitude, or best wishes into handwritten words and to post them to the persons with whom they want to communicate most through the hands of "green-clothed angels."
