This set of stamps features four attractive species of birds peculiar to Taiwan. They are recommended by Dr. An Kuei of the Zoology Division of the Provincial Taiwan Museum, and painted by Anderson Yang, lecturer of Fu-jen University.
The stamps take Formosan Firecrest(Regulus goodfellowi), Formosan Laughing Thrush(Garrulax morrisonianus), White-eared Sibia (Heterophasia auricularis) and Yellow Tit(Parus holsti) as their central designs.
