Yangmingshan National Park is located on the Tatun Volcanic Range in northern Taiwan, covering a land of 11,400 hectares. The Volcano has long been inactive. It embraces mountains, waterfalls, craters, crater lakes, and hot springs. There is a diversity of topography and plant as well as animal ecology. Yangmingshan National Park is frequented by people of Taipei, especially in the springtime when the azaleas are in bloom.
