Description
Consisting of two stamps, this set is the eighth of a second series of New Year's Greeting Postage Stamps drawn by Ms. Chuang Chu-mei. 1988 is the Year of the Dragon, as reckoned by the traditional Chinese lunar calendar. The abstract drawing, round in form symbolizing union and harmony, depicts a dragon. The souvenir sheet (78×102 mm.) is composed of two sets of the new stamps.
