The featured painting, 541.6×31.5 cm in size, is a handscroll with ink and color on silk. The painter was Wen Cheng-ming (1470-1559), who was included as one of the Four Masters of the Ming Dynasty. He painted this handscroll in 1548, when he was seventy-nine years of age.
This set consists of ten 3.00 stamps featuring 〝After Chao Po-su's 'Red Cliff'〞of the Ming Dynasty (1386-1644), recommended by the National Palace Museum in Taipei. The ten stamps are arranged in two strips which depict the whole painting.
