This set of four stamps, featuring the ju-i of the Ching Dynasty (1644-1961), was recommended by the National Palace Museum in Taipei.
The ju-i has been an object highly favored by the Chinese people because its shape illustrates the propitious expression〝as you wish〞. The ju-i derives from the ancient hu-tablet which was a mark of authority and social rank and was meant to be held in the hands of elderly
