The National Palace Museum, Taipei recommended four pieces of its Ming Dynasty enamelware collection to be featured on this new stamp set.
The four pieces are described briefly:
2.0 Brush washer with hornless`dragon handles, cloisonne enamel. Hsuan-te ware (1426-1435 A.D.) 5.0 Tsun, in the shape of a bronze ritual vessel, with three ring-handles, cloisonne enamel. Ching-tai ware (1450-1456 A.D.) 8.00 Plate with dragon decor, cloisonne enamel. Wan-li ware (1573-1620 A.D.) 10.00 Vase, cloisonne enamel. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 A.D.)
