These four ideographs-happiness, wealth, longevity, joy-were featured on the New Year's Calligraphy Postage Stamps. The calligraphy is a reproduction from the valuable and treasured collection of the late Mr. Yu Yu-jen, an elder statesman of the Kuomingtang and the Republic of China. The four ideographs were printed in a se-tenant block of four stamps.
