This set features the painting 〝Children Playing Games on a Winter Day〞 by a Sung artist, Sung Dynasty (960-1279), recommended by the National Palace Museum in Taipei. The four NT$5.00 stamps are arranged in a block of four, which depicts the entire painting. The souvenir sheet (102 × 146 mm.) consists of the four stamps, also in a block.
The painting is a wallscroll, 195.6 × 106.7 cm in size, with colour and ink on silk. It shows two children playing with a palm civet, next to a grove of plum blossoms, camelias and bamboo.
