Continuing 〝A City of Cathay-A Famous Handscroll Painting in Palace Museum Stamps〞issued on June 18, 1968, another set of 〝A City of Cathay〞Handscroll Close-up Views Postage Stamps was released with special features of ancient Chinese social life selected from this handscroll as the central designs. A pair of 1.00 stamps was printed produced in a strip showing a bridal parade from the handscroll. The three other stamps of 2.50, 5.00 and 8.00 feature an emigrant ox cart, an art gallery, and a roadside eating place from the painting respectively.
