Description

  This set of stamps takes six ancient Chinese art masterpieces, selected from the Palace Museum, as the central designs. Particulars of the stamps are listed below:

1.00  Ching Dynasty (1662-1911 A.D.) Jadeite Cabbage, Jade, Height 18.4 cm. Greatest width 9.5 cm.

1.50  Warring States Period (770-221 B.C.) Jade Battleaxe, Jade, Height 23.2 cm. Greatest width 14 cm.

2.00  Sung Dynasty (960-1126 A.D.) Flower Container Lung-ch'uan ware, Porcelain, Height 16.5 cm. Mouth diam. 16.8 cm. Inner base diam. 9.5 cm.

2.50  Ching Dynasty (1662-1911 A.D.)Vase, Yung Cheng painted cloisonne enamel (1723-1736 A.D.), Enamel, Height 21.1 cm. Mouth diam. 7.2 cm. Base diam.8.1 cm. Shoulder perimeter 45.8 cm.

4.00  Ching Dynasty (1662-1911 A.D.) Agate Flower Holder in the shape of finger citrus, Agate, Height 7.5 cm. Length 12 cm.

5.00  Chou Dynasty (1111-771 B.C.) Hu(Kettle), Sacrificial Vessel, Bronze, Height 48.6 cm. Diam. 31.4 cm. Weight 11.077 kg.
