Description



Situated in the subtropics and with plenty of rainfall, Taiwan is teeming with a great variety of insects and flowers. In order to stimulate interest in Taiwan insects and flowers and thus to promote tourism, two sets of stamps with attractive insects and lovely orchids as their subjects were issued.
