Description



   This set is composed of three stamps, 5.00, 7.00 and 12.00, the current basic postage for mailing an air letter to Hongkong and Macao, to Asia and Oceania, and to Europe, America, and Africa. The three designs are: (1) the Tzu-Chiang (self-reliance) Squadron flying over the Presidential Mansion, (2) the newest type air liner of the China Airlines(CAL) plane on the upper left corner, and a close-up view of the national flag of the Republic of China shown on the tail of the air liner on the lower right corner and (3) the national flag of the Republic of China as the main design, with a CAL plane on the upper right corner, symbolizing our national flag flying around the world through China Air Lines.
