Description
The three teams of the Republic of China-the all-stars Big League team, Jung Kung Senior League team and Ping Kuang Little League team-won triple championships at the 1978 Little League World Series. To celebrate this significant event, a set of commemorative stamps was released on September 9, 1978-Sports Day. These stamps, being originally of 〝Additional Print of 3rd Print of Nine Major Construction Projects Postage Stamps,〞are overprinted in red with Chinese characters meaning 〝commemorating the third winning of triple championships of the Little League World Series by the Republic of China Teams〞 and the year〝1978.〞
