Description
Since the implementation of the 9-year free education system in the Taiwan and Kinmen regions in the academic year 1968, there have been widespread values in raising the intelligence and ability of the people and in strengthening the power for national reconstruction. In commemoration of this occasion, a set of stamps was issued on September 1, 1969, the first anniversary of the inauguration of the new system.
