Description

Rotary International, dedicated to the aim of serving the community, is a service club which offers a practical means of enlarging one's friendship, participating in community-betterment undertakings, promoting high standards in business and professional life, and advancing international understanding, good will and peace. The 60th anniversary of Rotary International was on February 23, 1965; a set of commemorative postage stamps to mark the occasion was issued. The design depicts an emblem of the Rotary International with a main-spring as an expanding force at its back, symbolizing the outstanding service rendered by Rotary clubs in various circles.
