The 10th World Boy Scouts Jamboree was held in Manila, the Philippines during July 17-26, 1959. A group of 500 Chinese Boy Scouts participated in the Jamboree. In commemoration of the occasion, a set of commemorative postage stamps was issued with a boy scout bugling at dawn as the central design and camps in the field as the background.
