Description
On the 4th Postal Commemoration Day, which was on March 20, 1951, a Stamp Exhibition was held in the City Hall, Taipei for seven days from the 20th to the 26th. Souvenir sheets were issued to mark the occasion. Local philatelists joined in the exhibition with their collections.
The souvenir sheets (102 × 71 mm.) were printed by the C.E.P.W. in Taipei in emerald green on the plate of the $2 denomination of Self-goverement in Taiwan Commemorative stamps. The characters〝郵政紀念日郵票展覽會〞(Shtamp Exhibition on Postal Commemoration Day) and〝中華民國四十年三月二十日臺灣〞(Taiwan; March 20, 40th year of the Republic of China) were printed on the right and left margins of the sheet, respectively.
