The stamps were overprinted by the Peiping Printing Bureau of the Ministry of Finance in black Regular-Writing characters reading〝限新省貼用〞( restricted for use in Sinkiang) in a horizontal line between the national emblem and the Martyrs' portrait.

Sheet composition:20×10The overprint was arranged by the Postal Supply Department in Shanghai with
a local printing press, and was made in the same manner as the Peiping overprint.
