Description

To meet the public’s need for sending higher postage mail items, Chunghwa Post is issuing the "4th Print of Dragons Circling Two Carps" stamp. The stamp has a denomination of NT$100, the design of which refers to the window patterns on Longsan Temple in Lugang with octagonal shaped sides and dragons circling two carps in the center. Following the design of the stamp with the same denomination from the "2nd Print of Dragons Circling Two Carp" set issued on July 1, 1999, the color of this stamp has been changed from filemot to violet blue. The issuing country has been also changed to read "中華民國郵票REPUBLIC OF CHINA (TAIWAN) ".
