In order to meet demand, the Directorate General of Posts has taken out of storage a stamp of a bamboo design, which was originally part of a set: "Pine, Bamboo and Plum Issue." The original stamp had a value of NT$7.50. This will be covered over with an encircling dragon symbol that symbolizes good luck. A new denomination of NT$3.50 will be reprinted on the stamp, and it will be called "Pine, Bamboo and Plum Surcharged Issue."
