In order to meet service needs, a set of 〝Chungshan Building Stamps〞 of lower value was issued on separate occasions. The stamps uses the Chungshan Building on Yangmingshan as the central design. On November 12, 1966, President Chiang Kai-shek dedicated the newly completed Chinese Cultural Hall of the Chungshan Building at the 101th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Sun Yat-sen . Since September 1969, a new kind of whiter paper with fewer fibers was used for the printing of these stamps.
To serve the public, a booklet consisting of the following stamps with a total value of NT$50 was prepared:
0.50, 12; 1.00, 24; and 2.50, 8.
Attached with a postage rate list, 100,000 copies of the booklet were made and put on sale on December 10, 1969.
