Description
In order to meet the actual needs, parcel stamps printed at London by the Thomas de la Rue & Co., Ltd. were surchanged as definitive stamps in No.5 Regular-Writing characters and Arabic figures in a plate made by the San I Printing Press Co.,Shanghai(上海三一印刷公司). The overprints〝改作郵票〞(altered into definitive stamps)and〝金圓××圓〞(gold dollar currency...dollars) appear in two lines on the sides of the stamps and the new value in Arabic figures is shown at the bottom.
