75 years ago, on December 10, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly passed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. As a mark of the importance our country attaches to the issue of human rights, and to accompany the promotion of our human rights policy, Chunghwa Post has released a set of four NT$ 6 stamps. The four stamps respectively cover the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Each stamp features the English acronym of the above documents with appropriate colors and symbols for each to convey the fundamental concepts of dignity, liberty and equality. Two personal greeting stamps without marginal inscriptions are also available (horizontal sheet layout and business card layout). These customizable stamps are suited to collect. For philately lovers, a folio is released along with the stamps, which features one horizontal sheetlet of personal greeting stamps. The folio conveys the idea of freedom of speech. To purchase this limited edition stamp folio, please order on line at https://stamp.post.gov.tw.
