Following the “Money Rat Postage Label” issued in 2020 Chunghwa Post has issued an “Auspicious Ox Postage Label” designed around the traditional art of paper cutting. The auspicious ox seems steady and confident thus soothes minds and brings stability to people. With a Chinese character in the background written in the calligraphic style, the design suggests a coming Year of the Ox that will be characterized by long life and good fortune. On the lower left corner of each label is a serial number with three English letters (which signify the roll number) and four Arabic numerals. There is a total of 660 rolls with 1,000 labels each.A folio with two styles (from which, 6,000 copies with denominations printed in red while 2,000 copies black) is released along with the postage label. Each folio includes one each in NT$9, NT$13, NT$15 and NT$17 denominations of the label, a set of two stamps and a souvenir sheet of “New Year’s Greeting Postage Stamps (Issue of 2020) and a specimen label.
