Following the “Golden Rooster Postage Label” issued in 2017, Chunghwa Post is issuing a “Thriving Dog Postage Label.” The design of this postage label is filled with deep Chinese New Year festive atmosphere. A naughty dog and a bat are watching closely at each other with the calligraphy word "富" (fortune) decorated at its background. These symbolize blessing and good fortune are coming and also convey a happy mood with peace and reunion. On the lower left corner of each label is a serial number with three English letters (which signify the roll number) and four Arabic numerals. A total of 700 rolls with 1,000 labels each will be issued. A folio with two styles (from which, 8,000 copies with denominations printed in red while 2,000 copies black) will be released along with the postage label. Each folio includes one each in NT$9, NT$13, NT$15 and NT$17 denominations of the label, a set of two stamps and a souvenir sheet of the New Year’s Greeting Postage Stamps (Issue of 2017) and a specimen label.
