Following the “Auspicious Dragon Postage Label” released in 2012, Chunghwa Post is issuing a “Spiritual Snake Postage Label” featuring zodiac animal sign. Closely following the Year of the Dragon, the Year of the Snake continues with another prosperous new year. The spirited paper-cut snake is expressively rendered with bright colors, and complemented by gold coins and ingots, symbolizing the overflow of great fortune and auspiciousness. On the lower left corner of each label is a serial number with three English letters (which signify the roll number) and four Arabic numerals. A total of 900 rolls with 1,000 labels each will be issued.A folio with two styles will be released along with the postage label. Each style includes one each in NT$9, NT$13, NT$15 and NT$17 denominations of the label printed in red or black respectively, a set of two stamps and a souvenir sheet of the New Year’s Greeting Postage Stamps (Issue of 2012) and a specimen label. The postage label will be available on October 18, 2013 in postage label vending machines at the Postal Museum and the following branches: Keelung Aisan Rd.
