In a horizontal line across the top is the overprint〝改作欠資〞(altered as postage-due stamps) in new No. 5 Sung characters and on both sides of the stamps is the overprint〝金圓×分〞(gold dollars ×cents) in No. 5 Square characters, while the overprinted Arabic figures appear at the bottom. The overprint ws done in black.
