On November 1, 1946, the domestic postal tariff was again revised so that the ordinary letter rate was raised to $100 per unit of weight. As the highest denomination of the postage-due stamps then in stock was only $30, a new set of postage-due stamps was printed in suitable value by the Shanghai Printing Press of the Dah Tung Book Co. by the offset process in a horizontal style. The design and the wording are similar to those of 2nd Central Trust Print except minor differences in decorations on the four sides. The whole set consists of nine denominations, all in purple.
