Continuing the series of Taiwan Scenery Postage Stamps inaugurated in 2016, Chunghwa Post has offered a set of four stamps depicting landmarks in Keelung City. The stamps are described below:1.Zhengbin Fishing Harbor Colorful House (NT$6): Zhengbin Fishing Harbor is situated on the south of Heping Island and is a historical fishing harbor. Now it is a jetty for holidaymakers in search of the past. This Colorful House with its no frills style adds color to the fishing harbor and is a check-in hotspot.2.Keelung Harbor (NT$8): Keelung Harbor is an excellent harbor in a natural bay on Taiwan’s northern tip. Tourists around the Harbor enjoy vistas of mountains and the ocean as well as seeing the large liners and freighters moored there. The Harbor is the best spot for night views. In recent years Keelung Harbor has begun to be transformed thanks to integration of the surrounding businesses creating a new harbor landscape on the coast.3.Wangyou Valley (NT$9): Wangyou Valley is the beautiful V-shaped valley next to Badouzi Fishing Port. It is a place for strolling through the green grass of the valley from where you can see the fishing boats coming and going. In the distance lies Keelung Islet. The beautiful match of mountain and ocean is a feast for the eyes.4.National Museum of Marine Science and Technology (NT$12): The Museum is located in the east of Keelung City on the Badouzi peninsula, east of National Taiwan Ocean University and Bisha Fishing Harbor. It holds exhibitions, caters to education, research and archival storage, and also serves as a place to relax. It is an excellent choice both for family outings and extracurricular activities.Personal greeting stamps without marginal inscriptions have been released along with the stamps, which feature a full set of “Taiwan Scenery Postage Stamps — Keelung City.” These customizable stamps are suited to collect.
