Since 1958, this Directorate had, through meticulous selection of scores of beautiful flowers, issued a wide variety of pleasing and appealing flower postage stamps. To continue the flower topic issuance, this Directorate released a set of three stamps depicting the flamboyant Bougainvillea spectabilis, also known as Bougainvillea; the attractive Wisteria sinensis, also known as Wisteria; and the eye-catching Merremia tuberosa, also known as Wood rose. The subject matter of the stamps was supplied by Marvin Jeng, Head of the Department of Botany, Taiwan Museum.
