　　 This set, consisting of two stamps, is the tenth in the second series of New Year's Greeting Postage Stamps released by this Directorate. 1990 is the Year of the Horse, according to the traditional Chinese lunar calendar. The abstract drawing, round in form to symbolize union and harmony, depicts a horse. The souvenir sheet (78×102 mm.) is composed of two sets of the new stamps.
