To advocate Chinese folklore culture and to promote the hobby of collecting stamps,this Directorate released a set of stamps on June 15, 1983-Dragon Boat Festival. As the name indicates, the four stamps depict in sequence the main plot of the legend of 〝Lady White Snake〞. They are the meeting, the stealing of the〝Tree of life〞, the confrontation, and the imprisonment.
