　　 Four stamps were issued on August 15, 1981 to focus attention on one of the new technologies of the Space Age-laser art. The issuing of this set was to mark the opening of the First Exhibition of Lasography in the Republic of China.　　 The four stamps feature examples of lasography. Their designs were created at the Tjing Ling Industrial Research Institute, National Taiwan University by Messrs. Yuyu Yang, Yang Feng`Chen and Hu Ching-Piao.
