To promote economic development in Taiwan, the government has, since 1973, conducted Ten Major Construction Projects. The ten projects were completed one after another, and they contributed greatly to the national economy. Their completion shows not only the government's determination to overcome difficulty, but also the people's united spirit. 　　 To publicize the great achievements of the Ten Major Construction Projects, a set of ten 2.00 stamps and a souvenir sheet were released. The stamps depicting the ten projects are arranged horizontally side-by-side, with five stamps in a strip. The souvenir sheet (218 × 100 mm.) contains the ten stamps.
