The characters 〝吉黑貼用〞(for use in Kirin-Heilungkiang) in Regular-Writing style were overprinted in two vertical lines over the rice stalks on the sides of the stamps by the peiping Printing Bureau of the Ministry of Finance. The stamps were issued at Nanking and Shanghai on April 18, 1929, but those overprinted 〝for use in Kirin-Heilungkiang〞 were placed on sale at Harbin on April 17.
