The Presidential Office Building of the Republic of China (Taiwan) was completed in 1919. In 1998 it was designated as a national historic site. The building has a majestic, elegant appearance with architectural features of high aesthetic value. Since the Presidential Office Building will turn 100 in 2019, Chunghwa Post is releasing a commemorative issue of stamps on the building. The issue features a modern design aesthetic that captures the building’s architectural characteristics, conveying the beauty and grace found both in tradition and innovation in a building with a rich artistic legacy. This highly collectible set of stamps includes a se-tenant strip of three stamps and a souvenir sheet that is sure to be a hit with philatelists. The designs follow:

The cover features brick red arrows conveying advancements to come in the future.
