To welcome theYear 2000 and popularize stamp collecting, this Directorate is holding the “Taipei 2000 Stamp Exhibition” with the Chinese Taipei Philatelic Federation at the Taipei Postal Museum from December 31, 1999 to January 2, 2000 in order to celebrate the arrival of the Year 2000. To make the exhibition even greater success, this Directorate will issue a commemorative souvenir sheet using the “Y2K” souvenir sheet additionally printed with the Chinese and English wordings of “迎接千禧年臺北郵票展覽紀念” , “TAIPEI 2000 stamp exhibition” and “中華民國八十八年十二月三十一日.” The logo of the exhibition will be printed on top of the wordings. The souvenir sheet will be released on the opening day of the exhibition.  
First Day Cover in large size to be sold at NT$2.00 apiece.
Cachet: A special cachet will be used at all post offices throughout the country and  the temporary post office at the Venue December 31,1999 to January 2,2000.
