　　 To mark the inauguration of the Feitsui Reservoir, this Directorate released a commemorative issue. 　　 The Feitsui Reservoir is located downstream of the Peishih Creek, the branch of the Hsintien Stream, 30 km from Taipei City. The main purpose of this project is to meet the water requirements for the Taipei area, with a 70,000 kw power plant constructed as the secondary purpose. The capacity of this reservoir will be 406,000,000 m3 .It is expected to have enough volume for the water supply for the Taipei area until the year 2030.
